Plans for maintaining kernel `-autofdo`?

Hi,

the kernel cachyos-v3/linux-cachyos-autofdo is currently on version 6.12.1-1.
Other kernels are already at 6.12.2-2.

As the first package dependencies begin to break (namely nvidia-utils), I wonder about the longevity of the -autofdo kernel and its future plans.

Well its gone, as the stuff is merged now to the default linux-cachyos kernel

We have some nice news for you!

With the upcoming kernel update (6.12.2) the kernel will be optimized
with AutoFDO. Most of you likely followed the recent progress of us
optimizing the kernel with AutoFDO, with the patches provided by
Google.

The AutoFDO patchset has been merged into the mainline kernel,
which makes it possible to keep this now all time.

Only the **linux-cachyos** kernel will be optimized with AutoFDO.
This is our default kernel and likely the most used kernel.
Generally we expect a performance improvement between 1-2%,
depending on the workload. Compilation were around 2 % faster and
also the cachyos-benchmarker did shows a bunch of win's.

We are also planning to optimize the kernel with propeller,
as soon LLVM 19 is available.

https://github.com/CachyOS/linux-cachyos/issues/343 The kernel should
be available in the upcoming hours for these Repository,
aditonally the new stable NVIDIA Driver will be shipped.

Edit: This will be provided for the cachyos-v3, cachyos-v4 and
cachyos-znver4 repository.
