Performance profiles and the game-performance script

I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on making changes to my system in relation to the game-performance script. I did a quick search and did not see an answer to this.

I use in my launch options in Steam to make sure the system is at full performance and the monitor does not turn off when gaming on a controller. However it does not seem to remember the power profile I had set before starting the game.

I often run my system in the power saving profile but after closing a game the script does not return the system to power save but rather to the balanced profile. Is there a way to get it to change the system to power saving on game exit?

Thanks!

Edit: I just wanted to note that it doesn’t always exit into balanced mode. I just had an experience where I launched the game while the PC was in power saving and when I exited the game it returned the power profile to power saving. I guess what I am experiencing when it doesn’t revert to the previous profile is a bug and not expected behaviour

exact same to me - but only with Lutris. Think it could have something to do with Battlenet before the game runs. I had to set Bnet to close after game start. Without this the screenlock function did not work at all. Performance Profile runs - but after game closes it goes only to the middle and not to energy save again…
