I could really use some help again—audio on Linux has always been a bit of a challenge for me.
I recently got the “Creative Sound Blaster Audigy Rx” sound card, and while it generally performs well, I just can’t get the microphone to work. I mainly need it for Discord, but it would be amazing if I could get it fully functional.
Usually, I don’t struggle much with setting up my system, but this time it’s been pretty frustrating. Either the sound card isn’t cooperating properly, or I’m overlooking something really obvious.
I’ve tried a lot of settings in Alsamixer and PulseAudio Volume Control, but nothing seems to do the trick.

Is there a chance that PipeWire has some preconfigured settings affecting this? Could I try uninstalling it to see if that makes a difference? Honestly, I’m not entirely sure what it’s doing on my system anyway.
