During the live boot if I apply This https://github.com/mudkipme/awesome-minisforum-v3?tab=readme-ov-file#workaround-for-global-volume-control-with-the-speaker
audio fix for my device everything works as expected, but if I install Cachyos then when I do the fix my audio devices will always auto mute and not keep profiles. Inside ALSA mixer I’m aware there is the option for Auto-Mute Mode and that is not affecting this.
The problem: I setup speaker levels to the way I want in alsamixer and then plug in headphones, outputs swap to headphones but don’t unmute and when I unplug them speakers now stay muted and I have to manually unmute and raise the volume back up. This doesn’t happen in the liveboot.
