Whenever i install cachy os it has some problem with the lightdm autologin. So i kindly ask the devs to fix the issue for the newer installation. as for as my findings the username is not added to the autologin group. So everytime have manually add the user to the autologin group
what DE do you use ?

Edit: I ve also tested it to no avail on me LightDM Display Manager. Still asks for pwd. On a fresh install a while ago. But it doesn t bother me.
can’t confirm that – in lightdm.conf the user is set to autologin
but the login requires a passwort
same thing in the released system 20240929
----> using sddm instead, autologin works
Yes i tried that on sddm autologin works but on lightdm by default its not working. After adding the user to the autologin group then only it works for me
add your username to the autologin group then it will work
