Hi all expert, i am noob in Linux platform, currently i tried installed the Legion Go Cachy OS handheld version which is running well. however i would like to know is Cachy OS support EGPU? is there any specific guideline? I purchased the following, but not sure how to get it working in Cachy OS. The setup can run in windows OS without problem, that i follow EGPU forum guideline.
- ADT-U3TG
- Gigabyte GTX 1660 Super
- Cooler Master ATX 700W
- USB 4 Cable

- Cachy OS detected the thunderbolt device ADT-U3TG, the board LED all green, is there any software or command needed ?
- How to install the nvidia driver for GTX 1660 super? I see online guideline all command base.
- is anyone using EGPU with Cachy OS? can share your experience.
Seem like not many users setup EGPU with Cachy OS, I think temporary i switch back to windows, cause it is running stable in windows platform. Although sometimes got blue screen, but the overall experience still worth the try.
I ended up returned back to windows platform, cause there are more guidelines and support. and seem like it is not many users with EGPU setup. Anyway thanks for helping.

But is it really necessary to assign Vram since the system will take it if it needs more? If it needs 8GB, it will take them anyway.
Hi @naim after installed, how can i confirmed the graphic driver.I can run the game in desktop mode and in the game setting i can switch between AMD and Nvidia GPU, however i have gone through some problem.

how to safety remove the EGPU, i find the desktop mode unstable, sometimes click no response, and have to force restart, not sure because the unplug GPU cause the problem.
