Same here. I was a more-or-less-happy Windows user since Win95, but Win11 is such a catastrophe that I completely switched to Linux. Being a coder, I am not afraid of the CLI and I know quite some things about Linux already, but still I am struggling with many things. I have CachyOS as my daily driver on my main PC and I am totally happy with that. For my laptop, I currently settled to TuxedoOS after trying Mint and Kubuntu and failing to install Cachy on it.
I am a gamer and as stated, I haven’t found a game that doesn’t work, but that means nothing, I guess.
My honest advice: if you really think you can live without Windows, you are willing to spend quite some time on trying out things and you are prepared to mabye re-install everything from scratch because you messed things up: try it. We will try to help you through the process.
