Hi everyone. Face error when trying to install cachyos

ERROR: Installation failed: “Bootloader installation error”
… - message: “Bootloader installation error”
… - details: The bootloader could not be installed. The installation command <pre>grub-install --target=x86_64-efi --efi-directory=/boot/efi --bootloader-id=cachyos --force</pre> returned error code 1.

<pre> is exactly what I got in error message in terminal, it’s not formatting

Is there any way to fix it?

It’s UEFI and installation goes on GPT drive

After many retries it finally works, system installed and works fine

I can’t say what the exact problem was happening, but most likely it was because of invalid fs flag for /boot/efi (it has to be boot, not bios-grub)
