Install question

Greetings.
According to scientific result: https://termbin.com/h4l8
I have troubles installing packages.
Is there only problem that i’m using wireless fidelity or with skin of my color?
(avg. speed is 53, as common for super secret government mountain bunker and i can’t leave this area.)

Thanks for Assistance.

Wireless connection shouldn’t be a problem normally, but there’s definitely connection problem here that you’re experiencing.

So, i need to forget about CachyOs for a moment because of installation process?
Of course i tried many times at different days.

As i never had installing problem with other operating systems.
Thanks.

Seems like for needs like the above, one should use a distribution that has an offline installer. Many distributions have this, but CachyOS downloads everything during install, which with a limited or intermittent connection will make things functionally impossible to finish correctly.

I have no idea what the computing needs are, here, but Linux Mint is sufficient for most purposes and has an offline installer.

Good luck!

Forget Mint since you are already going for a Arch based distro. Try Garuda.

it seems like a DNS problem, if you can open terminal check:

cat /etc/resolv.conf

nameserver 9.9.9.9
nameserver 101.101.101.101

if your /etc/resolv.conf is correct, you might try another aproach using your cell phone connecting it to your computer usb port, and enabling “tether USB” in your phone, so the computer might detect it and use your cell phone data to stablish an internet connection

edit: after looking at your partitions i see they are too small 78mb for ESP (fat32) is not enough, t must be 256mb at least to accomodate the linux kernel image, ideally 512.

system partition should be at least 25gb

Hello, happy to reply it worked. I tried both possible solutions.

As for partitions, it’s some misprint as I got 2GB (as recommend) for boot and more for home.
