As the title says does Linux have screen saver as I am a bit curious
never drink as more u can 
seen quiet a few in Lxqt some of them look like broken display some of them look like vram complete failure. most of them are better as the ones we all used to see on windows 95/98 machines. screensavers, yes, indeed. try Lxqt desktop!
