I dont know if that got cut off .. but I am quite surprised you do not have a mkinitcpio.conf.pacnew when clearly your mkinitcpio configuration is lacking the latest standards like systemd hook ..
Did it get deleted instead of handled?

You do have a handful there .. though the mirrorlists are often taken care of on their own without the need for such files via the rate-mirrors or similar tools.
