Switch to Desktop Mode (temporary):
steamos-session-select plasma
Set Desktop Mode as Default (persistent):
steamos-session-select plasma-persistent
This changes the system to boot into Desktop Mode automatically on reboot.
Use X11 or Wayland Desktop:
For X11: steamos-session-select plasma-x11-persistent
For Wayland: steamos-session-select plasma-wayland-persistent
Return to Gaming Mode (default):
steamos-session-select gamescope
