My laptop has cpu which is amd 8845 and comes with core graphics and also the laptop has a nvidia 4060 graphics card.
Now using kde desktop wayland is experiencing a problem, if the laptop is set to not use the amd core graphics card and only use the nvidia graphics card, then the effects in kde desktop lags badly, no, even the fps of all programs drops drastically, which is very strange.
I can’t really tell if this is an nvidia problem or a kde desktop problem, because with gnome desktop, this problem doesn’t occur.
nvidia and wayland are no buddies in every case 
guess on X11 there are not these issues 
Is this a laptop?
If yes, then automatically it should use your iGPU if you dont put it to dedicated mode as default
