Just so you don’t get some bad advice, what Desktop are you using?

Kde live cd it’s a hp laptop
Click on the Menu and search for Mouse click it and below that is Touchpad Off to right you will see “Tapping” and check “Tap to Click”
Werid thing but in the live cd it’s empty basically it shows nothing
After installation, it should work.
If not, repeat the step, the box will no longer be grayed out or invisible.

I got it to work basically it was default on x11 and didn’t show any mouse pad settings and yea after installing it showed me my mouse pad settings and all liking it so far
