Hello! Just a few days ago I got cachyOs working super smooth and have not logged into windows for a few days!
I did enable updates through cachy-update and noticed some items got updated over a few days.
When i first starting using firefox with my unifi network that has a 4k camera on the network the video processing was fine.
However I have noticed that when set the HEVC recording the video is VERY SLOW. (i only noticed this was causing it as my first fix was to remove the HEVC setting, i lose about 10 days worth of storage time tho.) This didnt happen on a fresh install. I tried firefox 145 dev build, tried forcing hardware acceleration on the normal firefox build. Neither solution works.
My laptop on windows11 does not lag with the same settings in unifi. Did something change recently with encoders or nvidia files? Im not good at troublshooting on my own yet. Would appreciate a nudge in the right direction
