Hello everyone, I’m trying every way to edit the freesync range but nothing works. In Windows I can do this easily using the custom resolution utility (cru) program, but in Cachyos it’s an impossible task. I’ve tried everything. Does anyone have a step-by-step guide to help me please?
I want to change the freesync range to a minimum of 70hz and a maximum of 165hz.
you can try xrandr or arandr.
if not in cachyos repo , you will need yay or paru ( tool AUR)
I searched in the gpt chat how to do it through xrandr but it says that it is not possible in wayland. Could you help me do this procedure in cachyos?
can you tell more is it a KDE wayland or Gnome Wayland or something else ?
KDE wayland
can you check that kscreen is installed
after can you try kscreen-doctor -o
