Hello from Yorkshire (Yawksha) UK

Just saying hello. I am skilled at search-copy-paste and at 71 still lucky to be fully functional. I have been using MX XFCE for a few years, Arco XFCE before that, prior to that Debian XFCE and Gnome, Nobara GNOME, Manjaro GNOME, UbuGnome, … I liked GNOME for creating as I could see at a glance what I had open on other workspaces… now I find you have a hot corner for KDE … which is much improved over the Mandrake KDE where I started in 2003.
I’ve already solved a couple of queries with search-copy-paste and immediately have a functional MOZA 5 to use with AmTruck (CachyProton)…just need to see which race sims I can utilise.
Thanks to everyone that unknowingly helps me or entertains me.
I’m never rude, never too clever and look forward to using Cachy on my laptop and desktop to edit photos/video/blender and drive virtual race cars etc… I currently still make music in Win10 because Propelorhead software are like that and that’s the way it is. GREAT DISTRO.

I’m truly impressed, ptr, I’m dual booting on both machines with MX that has served me well and since installing Cachy MX is mostly being used as photo/video/document archives.
I’m a week in, if that, and I’m cheered up… the rumours that everything just works appear to be correct.
Thank you for the welcome.

Please be patient :joy:

In my experience, users who praise their new system to the skies are the first to give up. But you convince me otherwise.

Welcome to the forum. Have fun!

a little over two weeks and now hinting to my wife that she may like this (She’s currently unable to update Arcolinux for a few days even after trying all the usual - she gets a list of Fatal Error ***** mirror). (the asterisks are obviously indicating a mirror name and not an attempt at cursing).
I am still very impressed.
