Hard drive maybe failing?

Been seeing errors from btrfs using dmesg, and ran a scrub. Does https://dpaste.org/QkqLs look like maybe my drive is starting to have issues and may die later on?

Surely does not look normal.

Did you try checking the drive with smartctl or nvme?

I have not, wasn’t sure what I could use to test if it was something with the FS or HD.

Edit: Ordered a NVMe just a second ago :slight_smile: Atleast it will be easy to send files from btrfs to new drive.

Probably a good choice, the disk is now nearly seven years old and some of the error counters have gone up. Reallocated sectores are still zero, though. Then again even a SMART self check failed. So, good timing :wink:
