Gamescope crashes with SIGABORT

Hi, I switched from Debian Testing to CachyOS today, but gamescope stopped working. It exits with SIGABORT. What can I do to fix this?

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 4600HS
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Ti

I too am having this issue. I encountered this a while back, but thought future updates will fix this. Unfortunately, it still persists today. However, I was able to run gamescope using AMD iGPU instead of Nvidia RTX 3060 after a lot of internet scrambling and lutris. So the issue is with Nvidia as usual.
Here is the command I ran:

gamescope --mangoapp --prefer-vk-device 1002:1638 -w 1920 -h 1080 -W 1920 -H 1080 -f -- game-performance vkcube

where the 1002:1638 is my AMD iGPU which I found through lspci -nnk | grep -E "VGA|3D"

I don’t know any more than this, but hope someone could probably find and fix the issue. But here’s one more thing I found; when I use --backend sdl in steam launch options, the game launches (albeit crashes frequently) with iGPU and dGPU but does not work when using the command in terminal or lutris.

I have tested this on both Vanilla CachyOS KDE Plasma and Barebones CachyOS + ML4W Hyprland.

I tried multiple games, but in my case, even with --backend sdl, I couldn’t get a single game to run, both from Steam and from the terminal. It does work on the iGPU, but my iGPU isn’t that powerful, so it would struggle with most of my games. I hope this gets solved, because gamescope is an important tool in Linux gaming.
