I’ve run into an issue playing World of Warcraft and tbh it’s the only thing stopping me from moving to Cachy and abandoning Windoze completely.
I’ve installed via Lutris using the website script for Battle.net and then installed through the client. Using all the defaults, WineGE8-26 etc. Sometimes, I can play for hours and nothing happens. Other times, my system will immediately freeze, everything, for a few seconds (6-10) then my computer comes back to life, in game music still playing but the game is completely frozen. Have to alt-tab back to Lutris and stop the game.
Tried ProtonGE, CachyProton, Experimental etc but the game won’t even launch

ROG Strix B650E-E Mobo
32Gb DDR5-6000 CL30
Crucial T705 2Tb NvME
Using KDE Plasma on Wayland
I’m still a relative noob when it comes to gaming on linux despite using CentOS for work for the last 20 years xD.
Any suggestions?
