Error: The keychain file

Hello everyone.
I get the following error when I try to update the keyring:

ERROR: The

keyring file /usr/share/pacman/keyrings/python-proton-linux.gpg does not exist.

ERROR: The

keyring file /usr/share/pacman/keyrings/python-proton-linux-secretservice.gpg does not exist. exit

How can I fix this?

Hi, I did that and then this error message appears.

Yes, it works perfectly.

Have sudo rm -rf /etc/pacman.d/gnupg/
sudo pacman-key --init
sudo pacman-key --populate

sudo pacman-key --recv-keys F3B607488DB35A47 --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com
sudo pacman-key --lsign-key F3B607488DB35A47

sudo rm -R /var/lib/pacman/sync

but the error message about the cachyOS welcome tool remains.

No.

Runs without problems

Ok, thanks anyway

This is coming from ProtonVPN AFAICT.

Just reinstall the AUR package.

Which kind of repo is that? Seems like any external

Yes, specifically:

https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/proton-vpn-gtk-app

The gtk app interferes with the default wireguard/openvpn packages (cachyos-extra-v3/wireguard-tools && cachyos-extra-v3/networkmanager-openvpn) if you set one up prior to installing the aur pkg so I’d recommend against installing it. This is just my experience on KDE, it may work in a gnome DE but… ¯_(ツ)_/¯

The latest comment in the aur says to remove the python-proton-vpn-killswitch & python-proton-vpn-connection that come with it, but it doesn’t resolve the issue with the cachyos-keychain package and the protonvpn-gtk-app.

Didn’t look into it that thoroughly though so I’m not sure what dependency was the direct cause.
