I couldn’t find anything specific to my inquiry when searching the forum and the web. This is what I start out with when upgrading using Octopi. I’m not sure if I should be concerned about the error message every time because everything seems to update properly.

This is what I get when upgrading using Pacman in Konsole.

I also noticed the checks and order of checks are different. I don’t recall making any changes. Do I need to do anything?
I tried refreshing keys with ‘sudo pacman-key --refresh-keys’ and there are a lot of retrieving errors.
I then updated my mirrors with ‘sudo pacman -Syy’ and the mirrors updated fine.
I haven’t made any system changes, update my system almost daily, and haven’t gotten any errors when updating my system in Konsole. Octopi noted the discrepancy with GPGMerror, and here I am.
I think I might have figured out something. I installed the printer driver from the AUR, a driver that hasn’t received an update in 10 years I typically wouldn’t care, because the driver has always worked. I did a fresh install and Octopi is no longer giving me that notification. Perhaps the keyring is no longer connected to a server. Does this happen with AUR packages?
