Hi, i could not encrypt /home via ecryptfs-migrate-home.
I have free disk space of about 225 GB and size of /home is about 58 GB.
If i do the math right my free space is more than the 2.5 size of /home which is needed. Still i get the error: not enough free disk space.
Could this perhaps be a bug of the script?
If so, how and where to address this?
Hmmm, i’m still new to Linux and didn’t know that command.
It’s output paints a different picture than Dolphin;
/home size: 463.76 GiB used: 231.51 GiB (49.9%) fs: btrfs
Looks like the culprit is the partition(size) i made when installing CachyOS?
Yes, thanks. You made me reconsider my plan. For now i will use Plasmavaults.
For a Linux-Newbie like me there’s really a LOT to comprehend. While installaing cachyOS was a walk in the park, making (some) things work is more like climbing Mt. Everest .
In case of a re-install: does the CachOs-Installer support putting /home on a separate disk or partition?
