Dual Boot Problem with TPM and Secure Boot I disabled both to install CachyOS. I created a 512MB /boot/efi fat32 partition and a 70GB btrfs partition. Once the installation is complete, grub does not start at the reboot. If I don’t activate tmp and secure boot it asks me for a key. If I activate them, only win 11 starts. How to solve?
Do you have to have 11?
Use rEFInd, it works really well. You can force it to text mode too.
Yes I have
I try using grub with 2 EFI System tho original windows boot manager and another for linux.
I decripted the disk and disabled secure boot and tmp2.
I hope windows upgrade to 24h2 anyway.
Using efibootmgr I try to set linux partition boot as primary.
I was able to get GRUB working with Secure Boot and give me the option for either on one of my installs. When I went to a clean install to use Hyprland I switched over to rEFInd and have liked it so much I’m going to continue with it.
Good luck!
I found the solution, in bios there is where select the ESP to activate to start the os.
Now grub start and I can chose the os I prefer or the timeshift snapshot saved.
