Hello, I have a problem. I cannot install the version cachyos desktop 250202. It loads but it doesn’t even get to the setup screen. It loads the stuff and then a black screen appears with a line in the top left corner and then nothing happens. It doesn’t matter if I try normally or with the nvidia driver. Neither the desktop version 241221 works without any problems. By the way, I have a gtx 1080ti.
what entry you use for install? the second one?
I tried it with both, neither works

does anyone have an idea why this doesn’t work? I only have the problem with the new cachyos version
well after i have get a new ssd for cachyos and installed 3 days ago with the iso you mention… i can only imagine that youre iso is corrupted
Perhaps try a different flash drive, or re-burn your disc after verifying your ISO is good?
You definitely need the Closed-Source driver on boot; the open-source driver will not work on 10 series cards, as far as I’m aware. Definitely need it for my GTX 960.
Question to everyone: optical disc is still an option, right?
so okay how do I do that with the closed driver? because only open is displayed
I had the same problem with an Nvidia GPU. Turning off all but one monitor solved the problem for me.
