I’m not really a gamer, apart from running X-Plane-12. X-Plane is a native Linux (and Win or Mac) program and runs really well on CachyOS, better than Windows and as good, if not slightly better than on Mint.
Installation is simply downloading the Linux installer and running it. The installer will run on every distro I have tried, Mint, Debian, Fedora, POP!OS - very slow for some reason - and now on CachyOS. It is available as a Steam game but I can’t see the point as it is a native app.
