Probably because the kernel ...-sched-ext-lto is more or less now unmaintained, happened to be with the autofdo kernel.

thankyou guys . i did not knew about that.
i cant remove it from the gui (cahyos kernel manager) since it is not display on the app anymore.
I would like to install a new one but i dont know wich one to pick.

i mainly do video games and very basic web/multimedia on an old computer.

i’ve read the autofdo blog post but it said it works with every cpu after haswell and i have an xeon-e3 (haswell). is it haswell included ?
if not v3-bore-lto maybe ?

i still have the “basic” v3 one installed tho.

if you have some commands/ wiki links to do so i’ll be happy :slight_smile:

Edit : ive just understood your message about autofdo
ive tried to install v3-bore-lto trough the graphical kernel manager and it prompt me the same error.

So i rlly need to know how to delete and switch back to the normal kernel trough cmdlines or maybe at the grub , i dont know .

Just install the default one and once booted into that one you can remove the old with

sudo pacman -Rns
