Crashing while playing games

Pretty new to the world of Linux, so any help is appreciated.

I have random reboots when playing Diablo 4, it was happening with POE2 as well but less frequently (haven’t play POE2 in a few weeks), happens less often on Deep Rock Galactic. I think it’s attributed to longer gaming sessions.

battle net is installed via Steam, and uses proton-cachyos.

I didn’t have this issue with Nobara, or when i was on W10.

Not sure if these are helpful but here are some logs.

Before looking at the log, can you reproduce this with Proton Experimental or Proton GE? Thanks.

edit: The logs don’t show anything useful, can you share the proton log instead? You can enable it by passing PROTON_LOG=1 to launch options.

I tried Proton 9.0-4, same issue. I’ll try with Proton GE and see if that helps
I’ve added the proton_log=1 to the launch.

I doubt it’s the cause but I’ve reduced my AMD PBO curve optimizer from -40 to -30 to see if it was an stability problem (never caused an issue previous through Prime95 testing when I implemented it on W10)

Just an update.
I was able to play for an extended period of time today without any issues.

I’ll have to revert to Proton-cachyos or -40 in PBO to determine which was the issue.

It turns out it was the PBO setting, all issues were on my end.
