Cannot update, cannot find keys in INSTALLED_DB

Since a week ago, it’s not been possible to update CachyOs in my laptop Dell 5459. Cachy Hello greeter window stopped, an so all other Cachy tool like Selected programs to install and Kernel Install tool. Whenever I try updating manually from terminal I get this message: cannot get keys from ‘INSTALLED_DB’ not found. Please help.

Please try this:

sudo pacman -S cachyos-keyring archlinux-keyring

Thanks for your reply. I did and then reboot, and tried updating but it didn’t work.

I would reattempt to update your install after you installed/updated the keyrings @Benchile

Edit: I would try to clear the cache, it might help out; & then try to update your system.

sudo pacman -Scc

It happened after an update @Benchile

I would also try that in terminal

sudo pacman-key --refresh-keys

Already tried cleaning cache (sudo pacman -Scc + sudo pacman -Syu ) before I posted my issue. Also tried running octopi package manager, but it did not run for missing libraries libalpm.so.14
I guess I should try reinstall cachyos tomorrow.

Well that sux @Benchile . Try the command I just posted while you were posting yours.

I would also try them out

sudo pacman-key --init
sudo pacman-key --populate

I am giving them a try. Thanks, mate.

No problem, hopefully it will work ! One doesn t want to reinstall, unless it s pretty borked. or screwed up as I do often ! But less nowadays. lol

After 11 months running so cool CachyOs… none of the suggested help which I thank a lot anyway, I just reinstalled CachyOs 240818 latest release an hour ago and back to keep going
