Running CachyOS on an intel laptop (raptor lake). This morning, I did an update by pacman -Syu and then it wanted a reboot, so I shut it down, and then left it. I come back to try and start the machine but it no longer gets to even the tty screen. It boots through grub, and enters into the screen that is about to become the tty, but doesnt progress.
I have used a CachyOS Live environment to update the system again via arch-chroot. I have also, cleaned cache, ran mkinitcpio -P and reran grub-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg And when exit and try to enter my laptop, there is no change 
any help in this matter is greatly appreciated. Currently working through a live usb and it is not ideal lol
Try a lts kernel.
