Since the latest update (I do them kinda weekly, the last one yesterday), I cannot paste to wine applications. I’m using wine-cachyos 2:10.0.20251015-1 on a KDE Plasma 6.5.0-1.1 wayland session. Usually I copy stuff from Firefox and paste it to WoW, but this feature stopped working. I cannot even paste to winecfg or notepad. I can still copy stuff from wine applications and paste them in native apps.
What information is required, I’ll paste it here. What can I do in the meantime?
I’m using the default, which is xwayland. The wine wayland driver is disabled by default because certain things don’t work yet, like multiprocess rendering, systray and window focus detection (which is required for battle.net client and ingame frame limiter).
I tried downgrading wine, but it didn’t change anything. Then I tried downgrading plasma, but SDDM showed only a black screen. What packages are required for a plasma downgrade? I just ran paru -U /var/cache/pacman/pkg/plasma*6.4.3*.zst, but this results in black screen (SDDM) and I cannot even log in.
UPDATE: I tried plasma-x11-session but then my system freezes with a black screen upon login.

and nothing worked. The Plasma X11 session even freezes my system. Please help.
Wine/Proton wayland driver is out of the question, because critical features are not working: systray, window focus detection (for frame limiter if game is in background), multiprocess renderer (multiple launchers show only a black window, there is a workaround, but then the launcher starts behaving weirdly).
PS: Why am I not allowed to post this in connected threads? “it’s too similar yadda yadda”. The forum does not show referenced threads so this is a necessary evil. I just want to bundle our efforts to find the responsible package and fix this.
I’m a new Cachyos user (or Linux in general) so can’t add any technical observation, but I wanted to confirm this problem persists. Only thing I can think of is after the update wine lost it’s permission to the clipboard functionality.
