CachyOS GUI slowdown after resume from sleep. KDE PLASMA

using “s2idle” sleep mode every time I wake from sleep my GUI is extremely sluggish. I was able to go to another TTY and run htop, and noticed “baloo_file_extractor” using up most of the resources, but after killing the process, the slowdown still occurred. It’s worth noticing that my mouse works perfectly, but everything else is unusable. It takes about 10 seconds for any keyboard input to register. I tried changing s2idle to “deep” but that didn’t work. I tried enabling “nvidia.resume” via systemctl but that didn’t help. I’m using the nvidia-open drivers. I really don’t want to do another reinstall. At worst, I’d like to go back to all default config settings for cachyos, if there’s a way to do that. It’s worth noting that I’m using “/dev/zram0” for swap, as cachyos doesn’t create a separate swap partition through their installer.
