How can I provide you with the log if the installation didn’t complete? I just get a black screen? Thanks
Hey everyone, its my first post, so, hello from ZA, just want to let ya know, using ventoy with ISOs, yeah the 240825 image i downloaded like this morning, then said to me 250825 is out, so know I can confirm I too had a no boot AFTER installing on my nvme drive using ai refind, and custom 2048gb fat32 as /boot with flags, etc etc, and just kept coming to usb boot , without the flash it would not boot… so am now busy with latest version and at 50 %using same setup as i did the last 10 installs, with same ai refind and that new desktop, will report if it works ok after the install reboot. up till now, what a f3(ck1ng good OS!!! well done and keep up the awesome work…G

I have been liking the NTsync change recently, been testing for the past few weeks.
I’m using the Deckify version of cachy on an rog ally x. After this last update the ally now base 2 control schemes. Before it read all controls as Xbox elite 2. Now itt has official rog ally controller but it is missing boh menu buttons.
System updates (or perceived problems with them) are not related to the recent ISO release.
On a rolling-release system like Arch/Cachy such releases are pertinent only to what is contained in the installation media.
There is not “Cachy version” you upgrade to - you are simply either up to date or not.
If you are having some sort of issue then please open a thread including relevant details.

i appreciate ntsync being added for proton looking forward to wine packages supporting this as well. Love xess support being added still have a forum open concerning xe drivers. While dg2 can be forced to use the xe driver instead of the i915. My uhd is also on the compatibility matrix as supported, but cant get both to run on the xe driver. I been working on this for the reasons of deeplink which is supported despite many people beleifs via the linux kernel and the intel one api basekit

The steam overlay and steam recording does not work with the new proton-cachyos
If I understand correctly, changes like:
- LTS kernel falback
- GRUB bootable snapshots
- NVIDIA S0ix sleep
are enabled for existing users by pacman -Syu ?
