hello, I get some issue with my system and encounter random crash (even under dual boot windows using files on BTRFS), principally on High ressource need.
I don’t know yet if problem come from BTRFS or perhaps an hardware problem.
I would like to reinstall system.
what is the best way to keep my @home ?
can I do it during installation or may I do a backup?
Making a backup before a new installation is always a good idea…
How do you install, just using the standard standard partitioning ore do you set a @home manualy?
I usualy do the last, where it is easy to keep the @home, just do not format it at installation an set the mountpoint.
The first, just using standart partitioning, i don’t know, because never made…
installation is standard. BTRFS on one SSD.
usually under ext4 I make manual partitions.
(for my problems it seems that BTRFS is not in cause.
I change battery of CMOS and get working game on BTRFS under windows and Cachy.
now my pc boot loop before bios. I suspect PSU.)
but to come back to the subject, I only would like to know if there is a particular thing to do during install to not erase @home (by the way, yes I will make a backup)
