Hi,
I have a fresh install of Cachy OS LTS with kernel 6.12.16-1-cachyos-lts with Gnome.
Using bluetooth I can successfully see and connect to my earphones or phone. However, my Bluetooth speakers do not appear, and manually trying to scan or connect to their address directly does not work and provide:
bt-device -c 00:02:9B:26:13:78
Connecting to: 00:02:9B:26:13:78
Error: Device not found.
The same occurs with bluetoothctl
Now I know the device works because my other laptop running PopOS (also Gnome) with kernel 6.9 is able to see it and connect to it.
I have read similar posts (I do not have a dongle for this) but found not solution there. I was initially on 6.13-3.3 but rolled back to the LTS 6.12 kernel thinking this would help. It did, now I can see Bluetooth devices, but not my speaker.
I also notice that discoverable bluetooth devices only have a handsfree mode, and no headset mode, I wonder if this could be related.
Any suggestions ?
