Anyone got any further with this? I’ve so far removed all my env vars (PROTON_USE_NTSYNC and PROTON_FSR4_UPGRADE) and reinstalled proton-cachyos-11 and it’s not made any difference.
What I’ve noticed from running steam in the console with several games is that on proton-cachyos-11 I get the warning `pressure-vessel-wrap[14842]: W: Not sharing path STEAM_COMPAT_TOOL_PATHS=“…:/usr/share/steam/compatibilitytools.d/proton-cachyos-slr:…” with container because “/usr” is reserved by the container framework`
I don’t get this with GE-proton, which is in /home/<my user>/.local/share/Steam/compatibilitytools.d/GE-Proton10-34
If I drop back to say proton 10 (which I’ve never used before) I get `pv-adverb[20373]: E: Failed to execute child process “/Games/Steam/steamapps/common/Proton 10.0/proton” (Permission denied)`
